#stayhome

Wherever in the world you are, I know you’re aware about what’s happening now and most probably you are also in a lockdown like us here in Malaysia. Eventho it’s called Movement Control Order, but it feels like a lockdown already because we’re no longer want to go out. It’s like a scary world we’re living in, the virus are flying everywhere. However, thank Allah that situation is still in control and everyone is calm at home.

Bila duduk rumah dan selalu tengok news pasal Covid, korang ada rasa senang nak nangis tak? I don’t know but I do.

Rupanya kita bukan je kena sama-sama fight Covid tapi jugak stupidity ni.

Tapi kan, sbenanya kita masih boleh tengok ramai lagi orang yang baik kat Malaysia ni. There are many act of kindness, even a small one buat aku nak nangis jugak. Pastu ada tukang kasut offer repair free to all frontliners. Big companies also take part to contribute to society. For example, Telcos give free 1GB everyday. Astro free all channels until 14th April. This may look a little but it’s a very much appreciated.

Tempat-tempat kuarantin pon bukan calang-calang. If we want to compare with a few other countries, actually we’re far better.

Tu belum cerita pasal our frontliners and healthcare. To add more, if you don’t know, Malaysia ranks number 1 in Healthcare last year.
I’m a proud Malaysian.
Tapi apa yang kita kat uma yang rasa macam takde apa-apa contribution ni bole offer to society? Well, if we have extra money, we can donate to some organization or fund to our frontliners. There are many NGOs that need our help.
You don’t how much it makes a difference to them.
And most importantly, the best contribution we can give back to society is JUST STAY AT HOME. We all can work together to break the chain of this pandemic. We all can be a hero.
So please stay safe and stay home, everyone!

Be Happy

One of the things I do occasionally is – reminiscing.

Looking at old photos in album – offline and online, reading old posts in my blog. Just to admire myself. Haha memang perasan. But on the serious note, it’s actually letting me to see how far I’ve grown. Tengok balik camane rupa masa dulu, apa fashion aku pakai, camane style aku menulis. Bila baca balik post lama, rasanya aku dulu lagi kelakar la. Mungkinkah faktor umur menyebabkan aku hilang sense of humor? Sigh~

This year resolution? Masih tiada BIG target dan masih sama macam tahun-tahun yang lepas which is - I just want to be HAPPY. Happiness that I don’t search but will create. Walaupon aku hanya duduk rumah takde buat apa time weekend, aku tetap rasa gembira dan bahagia. That’s what I want. I want to feel happy for whatever happens in my life. Tak susah pon kan?

I don’t worry about future. I don’t care about what other people think of me. I don’t need to get anyone’s approval to do what I like. I’ll do me.

And I’ll do whatever that makes me happy too, like reminiscing.

Happy more happy days for me!

Let me tell you.
Dunia ni memang tak adil. Dunia ni kejam! Kita hidup kat dunia ni akan ditimpa macam-macam dugaan.

Kadang-kadang dugaan itu sesuatu yang tak tertanggung. Dada rasa nak pecah, hati calar berdarah.

Hanya satu kita perlu yakin, Allah Maha Adil.

Day-out @ Tadom Hill

Tadom Hill - went there last Saturday for Office team day-out. It’s not difficult to find the place using Waze. Only that the junction from main road quite narrow and I only noticed the small banner once we turned in. No big archway, no tarred road, just drive through the palm trees.

The place - there are many bamboo huts provided which is good for a group to sit, relax and to have BBQ too. I would say the place is quite nice to chill, by gazing at nature. But the place is smaller than I thought, and for me, it's only nice for a day trip not for overnight. Probably cos I find the place is not so reassuring. (I think it’s creepy at night)

The Splash – I think the height is about 1.5 storey. So be careful. Don’t jump with your face down, cos its seriously pain. (That’s what happened to me. Hwaa~) I did 3 jumps and caused several bruises. Sob~

The Water – is my main concern before going there. “What’s under the water?” I must’ve been watching too many nonsense stories that I imagine dragons (ah it’s a band!) or any eerie creatures down there. I even brought a goggle to find out if I can see anything. But nop, nothing. Only green water (not so emerald green anymore cos I believe urine color is taking over. Yuckss!) Yeah, water is not clean. My skin started to feel itchy a few hours later.

Conclusion, dead water is not my type. I rate 2 stars.

Arghh I need vitamin sea now!!

Salam Nuzul Quran

I rarely speak about Islam because I know I’m too far from perfect. But I’m writing this as I was triggered by reading some nasty comments about Islam – which you can also read from this video on Facebook.

I just want to spread the idea that - we all should respect each other.

Respect everyone.

Respect every religion.

Respect every opinion.

Even when you don’t agree.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are many people want to seek the truth about the purpose of life but only a few are fortunate to get the Hidayah (guidance). He was lucky that he found someone who is pious and knowledgeable about Islam when he’s in the search.

I know there are a lot of bad perceptions towards Islam have been spreading all over the world.

"Muslims are terrorist"

"Islam teaches to kill others"

"Islam is a fake religion"

Most probably, they are pervasively influenced by what they see in media and what they read on Internet, but it’s unfair to blame all Muslims and to condemn the religion when the fact is they know nothing about the teachings in Islam.

There is no bad religion and there is no religion that teaches people to be evil.

There is no bad religion, only bad people.

Reading from some comments that I found on Internet, there are many ignorant people who dare to throw an outrageous statement to show their hatred on Islam. Those comments are bluntly made without any concrete facts to support their statement.

Clearly, they never do any research, not even open to accept opinion and just want to provoke by making a comment like “Muhammad is crazy”.

Why would some people being so offensive?

I believe that we were taught to respect everybody’s religion. Yes you can open for a debate but don’t critic, don’t mock, don’t insult their belief. If you want to share your thoughts about something, please ensure that you’re well-versed on the topic and be prepared with the true facts. Don’t quote something that you found on Google without further studies the source. And most common confusion that I see is, they misinterpret a verse from Quran without reading the whole context.

If you have questions such as:

“Why women need to wear hijab? But why some don’t wear it?”

“Why one needs to convert to Islam to marry a Muslim?”

“Does Quran says to kill non-believers?”

“Is Muhammad a pedophile?”

“Why can’t Muslim eat pork?”

And for many more questions that you have, you should look for the righteous person who can give you the answer - based on Quran, not by their own opinion. Also, reading the Quran would certainly help. Or probably start it by reading a book, for example, about the questionnaires in Islam or a story of Muhammad – from a trusted publisher of course.

Eventhough I’m a Muslim-born, but I’m not a good person, not an example to portray Islam. Rule number 1, if you want to learn about Islam, don’t look at Muslims, but learn from Quran and Sunnah instead. This statement came out because nobody’s perfect, we all are sinners and many Muslims out there don’t practice Islam properly.

That’s just in case if - you want to know about Islam.

However, if you still don’t think that Islam is the way of life, it’s okay. “Let there be no compulsion in Islam” (2:256). And as I said earlier, Hidayah only comes to the chosen ones. As long as we can stop the hate and always respect each other’s faith.

“For you is your religion, and for me is my religion(109:6)

Spread love and peace.

Oh duit

Duit duit duit
Pagi petang siang malam asek pikir duit
Cuba jugak simpan dalam tabung sikit sikit
Tapi hutang yang membukit

Bila dapat gaji bayar bil sana sini
Tambah headache time ada emergency
Blom kira kalau kete rosak lagi
Terpaksa hidup kais pagi makan pagi
Hmm apa nak jadi hidup macam ni?

Ada masa tak bole dah nak bernafas, rasa sesak dada
Usaha lonjak-lonjak curi udara tapi akhirnya terkapai jua
Masa tu la terpaksa tebal muka mintak pinjam kat member
Itupon delay delay sebab rasa kelu lidah nak berkata
Sampai beras tinggal sebutir baru nak buka mulut meminta
Tambah hutang kann... mana ada orang suka
Ye tak ye?

Tapi aku tengok ramai jugak orang yang macam tu
Kos hidup makin meningkat, harga barang makin meninggi
Sewa rumah, transport, nak tanggung makan pakai famili
Duit gaji memang tinggal takat celah gigi
Aihh gimme 5 la kawan-kawan, kita memang selori
Mari sesama berhuhu mengenang nasib sendiri

Which flower would you pick?

You were asked to walk through the garden and pick just 1 flower that you think is the most beautiful.
You are only permitted to walk ahead, cannot turn back.
When you start walking, you see a lot of beautiful flowers. You didn’t know which one to pick so you were just keep walking as you believe there will be more beautiful flowers at the front.
Time goes by, you walked too far and suddenly realized that you’re already at the end of the garden. Still, no flower in your hand.

Ever heard of the story?

Yes, life is about a choice. Neither is right nor wrong.
There are people who picked the flower too soon, and still be happy with their choice.
There are people who picked the flower too soon, and feel regret for not making a better choice.
There are people who had seen all the flowers and glad they chose the most beautiful.
There are people who had seen all the flowers but still none to choose.
There are people who didn’t pick any flower because they scared to make a choice.
There are people who didn’t pick any flower because they are not easily satisfied.
There are people who didn’t pick any flower because they don’t need one. Yet.
There are people who didn’t pick any flower because they think the grass is greener on the other side.

Win or lose
Happy or sad
Glad or regret
It’s all in life.

Don’t compare yourself with others. Everyone has their own story. Be grateful and believe in fate.
Just live, love and enjoy the moment while you still can.

If you love a flower, don’t pick it up.
Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love.
So if you love a flower, let it be.
Love is not about possession.
Love is about appreciation.”

Dari kawan untuk kawan

Kalau tak suka
Cakap je
Jangan tarik muka
Kita bukan budak darjah 5
Suka merajuk sini sana
Tetiba tak bertegur sapa

Aku berkawan senang je
Tak suka berkira
Lebih kurang dah le
Hal kecik takyah terasa
Tak suka marah tak tentu hala
Kalau kau timbangrasa
Aku lagi bagi muka

Berkawan bukan setakat lepak sesama kat kedai mamak
Bukan setakat tempat kau carik masa tengah sesak
Bukan jadi peneman hanya bila kau bosan bagai nak rak

Kawan tu macam keluarga
Macam kau layan adik beradik sama bapa
Kalau tak sama pon kau tetap tak beza
Sebab kau tau kalau da famili tu tetap stick together

Tapi aku tau Tak semua orang camtu
Takpela kalau kau hepi begitu
May God bless you!

Goodbye! 2015

This year, we see a lot of increment
The price of petrol, toll, almost everything in market
Plus, GST
Not to mention, the worrying increment of stupidity among Ministers

After increasing the living cost, they advise people to do 2-3 jobs in a day
Do part-time job, online business, open up burger stall, apam-balik or any
Which adding another burden

I don’t want to live wealthily
But I want to live moderately, peacefully, happily and restfully

As encouraged by the greatest leader in the world, our prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h and written in Quran:
“He it is Who made for you the night that you should rest therein, and the day to see. Surely in those are signs, indications of His Oneness, exalted be He, for those who are able to hear (who think deeply).” (Surah Yunuus: 67)

Similar message is repeated many times in Quran and sure there are a lot to share
The point is, a great leader will help to provide a balanced work-life for people
While a stupid leader do the opposite
Talk more, think less

Hope for a better standard of living and giving in 2016

Oh my English!

Born in a Malay family, lived in Malay neighborhood, raised up with Malay friends, went to Malay school. So, English is definitely not my mother tongue.

I picked up quite slow in English. During my primary school days, I was not among the best students in the subject. The highest I scored was probably B. That resulted in my UPSR, 3A 1B L

In Secondary school, the exposure in English was way better. I remember the English week. Every student needs to converse in English, or else we had to pay penalty if we get caught. There were also many activities organized such as coral speaking, storytelling, debate that we got to involve. I think by that time I already can speak and write quite well. Only my vocabulary was still poor.

I still can recall when I was in Form 5, I went to a Chess competition which that was my 1st time ever. On 1 round, my opponent and I were stuck in the game. No one win, no one lose. At that time, I did not know what ‘draw’ means.

Pure lack of vocab.

I believe one of the factors that could attract students to learn English is the teacher. Ya I remember my English teacher in Primary school. She’s fierce and didn’t treat her students equally, she’s biased. She only liked those clever pupils.

But my English teacher in Secondary school was very good. I still remember her name, Susaibah. She’s funny, she always made her class interesting and always encouraged us to learn English. She loved every one of us and I can feel that she loved me too J

Then moving on, I improved a lot in English when I started to work. Working in multi-racial and multinational corporation, English is absolutely the no. 1 language. No longer scared and anxious to speak and as time goes by, I could speak English as good as Malay.

But nowadays, whether you can speak English is no longer important because people more keen to know; "How good is your English?".

Never date a person who…

That’s the topic discussed on Hitz.fm this morning. I got to listen to only 1 caller before my radio went ‘out of signal’. Duh~

The caller said, “Never date a person who had been rejected by your mom”. Ok that obviously NO NEVER. Bak kata orang, hubungan takkan kekal kalau tak direstu orang tua. Kan kan?

Oh yeah, another one I heard, “Never date a person who never been on date and he’s 30. Haha yep, there must be something wrong. So don’t take any risk. Hehe.

And based on my own experience and observation, I would say, “Never date a person who…”

1. Had been dumped by his ex. – Be careful. There must be something that he’s done to make himself been dumped!

2. Says he likes you but hardly replies your SMS/Call. – Benci kan?

3. Had a crush with your friend before. – Owhh no way!!

4. Focus on his gadget more than talking to you. – Leave him to be alone with his gadget then!

5. Always forget the things you said. - Well, guys always like that. But unacceptable when it’s too much!

I surely have verrryy long list to share. But 5 are just enough ;)

Am I secretly sad?

When was the last time you were laughing out loud?
When was the last time you cried?

If you can’t answer the first question and the second has just happened few days or hours ago, you need to seek a professional advice.

Note:
You don’t have to be ashamed, scared or miserable for having this syndrome.
In fact, feeling gloomy, heart-wrenching sadness or chronic emotional flatness is no longer rare in 'depression'.

New year resolution, I don't want any stress, pressure and depression. I will enjoy life to the fullest and I wanna be happy as much as I could :)

Tolak jodoh?

Hishhhh!! Mintak simpang malaikat empat plohpat!

Fikir punye fikir, buat ape aku nak fikir-fikir sangat ye tak?
Kalau ada jodoh tu, adalah. Kalau takde pon, redho jelah. Semua tu kan ketentuan Tuhan. Wat tudu...huhu.

Lagipon, buat apa kita nak terima seseorang tu kalau awal-awal kita da rasa tak bole nak suka? Tak bole ngam, tak bole feel. Atau bak kata omputeh, no chemistry.

Tapi sume alasan ni aku simpan sendiri jela. Ofkos! Takkan nak bgtau direct kat muka dorg. Tak baik wor..

So aku bgtau kat sini jela. Antara alasan-alasan bodohnya ialah:

  1. Muka tak ensem. Biasala alasan ni.
  2. Dressing tak bole blah. Macam bangla jual karpet je.
  3. Blaja tak tinggi dari aku.
  4. Keje tak bape best.
  5. Dengar-dengar citer, mak dia mulut laser.
  6. Bulu kaki lebat sangat.
  7. Dia penah suka kat orang yang aku kenal.
  8. Kurus sangat cam papan.
  9. Cakap omputeh berterabur
Bodoh tak bodoh?

Sebenarnye, alasan yang bijak pon banyak...hmm takyah bagitau laa.

Typical Malaysian: "Actually...aaa..."

Bak kata omputeh, typical Malaysian.

Err basically...

Lagi satu aku perasan, ramai yang suka guna perkataan already..sikit sikit already. I eat already atau 'i makan dy', 'i know d'. Oh pasar oredi.

Dulu mase attend kelas 'Softskill', trainer pon penah suruh tolong jangan guna Actually, Basically, banned terus. Katanya, kurang professional. Sebab dah terlalu biasa orang guna. So kita kene guna perkataan yang lain baru ade kellasss. Normally?

Gendang gendut pecah perut gelak setiap kali dengar. *Biar pecah di perut, jangan pecah di mulut* Ahh sengsaranya kalo pecah perut!! (Oh ni cuma imaginasi ntahapehape sekejap.)

Sejak tu, aku mesti rasa nak tergelak bila dengar orang cakap Actually.
Hee~ tipikalnye kamo!

Being Customer 'Service'

May I ask, what is your occupation?
Is your job requires you to communicate with people?
Or just working by your own self with no interaction to others?

I wonder, is there such a job?

Ok, let me roughly introduce myself.
I was graduated in Information Technology, major in Software and was aiming to be a programmer. But to get a job as an IT programmer was quite difficult. Most of the job required an experience. So for a beginning, I worked as an IT Support Consultant in one multinational company.

It is called IT support consultant, also known as IT Support Engineer, or IT Helpdesk. Or you may call it any name, but genuinely we all do the same task. To assist the customer/client/user on solving their IT related issues, via email and phone call.

That was a great job with high pay. But after few years, I started to feel extremely bored, fed up and sick of servicing the customers which most of the times are very irate and demanding. Day by day, I did not feel motivated to go to work till I decided to leave the profession. The worst thing was, I felt the job has changed myself to be a hot-temper type of person. I was glad that I made a right decision.

Then, I tried another job, but still dealing with people. But this time was meeting face to face, which I rather like it more. I like the job eventhough it was tough most of the time as it involved in convincing and persuading. In another words, doing sales. So, you know how it works. But it went quite well, until I encountered a personal issue in mylife.
That personal issue had forced me to leave the job.

Few months after that, I started a new life by unwillingly becoming customer service again but have to do it for the sake of living. And was trying to hunt a job which doesn't need me to meet other people. Or at least working in an office without any communication to outside people. But in the process of searching, I noticed, most of, or I could say, all of the job round the world has 'customer service' in it. There's no job for me to hide from public/people.

Who says, accountant doesn't need a good customer service? Even a busdriver also need to have that softskills.
In life, you need to learn being nice to other people. And, customer service is the best way to improve yourself as a person. It will teach you to be patient, soft-spoken, be respectful, helpful and friendly.

Now, I start to enjoy this job.
:)

Perjalanan Masih Jauh

Drama sebabak: quiteck, kweetex, kuwitek? Jangan mencarut suda...

Maka, bermulalah satu perbualan.

Perempuan 2: Eh dik, ko pakai quitek eh? (Sambil menjeling-jeling ke arah kuku Perempuan 1)
*quitek = nail colour.

Perempuan 1: err...a'ah. nape eh?
*kaler kwitek dia merah jambu cair je pon.

Perempuan 2: kau tu pakai tudung, orang lain tengok tak elok la.

Perempuan 1: hmmm...yela.
*malas nak layan la kot.

Tirai pon dilabuhkan. Sekejap je babak 1 da tamat.

Soalannya:

3. Adakah Perempuan 2 itu merasa dirinya berhak menegur kerana dia sedang duduk di atas kerusi pelanggan? Yelakan, 'customer is always right'

Berhentilah berharap
Kerana sesungguhnya kau tiada pilihan
